Most coloured light switches are painted plastic. The paint scuffs where your thumb lands, chips at the screw the first time a driver slips, and white turns yellow in a sunny hallway within a couple of years. COLORI is different. The colour is baked onto a solid metal plate, so it isn't a layer sitting on top; it is the surface itself. Blue stays blue after years of flicking. White stays white. Anthracite wipes clean with a damp cloth and holds no fingerprints. No brush lines, no runs, no thin spots at the corners: one even matt coat in six colours, each finished with a knurled brass, silver or black toggle. It's the same kind of finish used on things that live outdoors. On a switch, it simply means the colour you chose is the colour you keep.

The plate is solid metal. Not a metal-look moulding, not a plated skin over plastic. You feel that before you read a single line of copy: the weight in the box, the cool face flat to the wall, the 24.4 mm it stands proud of the surface.

The toggle is diamond-cut and knurled. Grip under the thumb, a defined edge, not a smooth plastic nub. The detail kit that ships with it (toggle arm, nut, caps) is finished to match the plate, so nothing on the front breaks the line.
