NEST was drawn for the nightstand first. Small footprint, angled head, and a recessed tray in the base so your keys, watch and glasses land in one place instead of on the floor. Most modern bedside lamps are a shade on a stick with nowhere to put anything. This one gives the surface back to you. Compact enough for a nightstand, considered enough for a console or a desk, and it looks the same from every side because there is no bad angle to hide.

The NEST lamp ships fitted with our lamp switch: brushed metal plate, metal toggle, matching details, on a textile cord. Not a plastic lump tucked behind the base. The part your hand meets every evening is metal, and it is already on the wire. That is the point of the build. A lamp that looks finished when it arrives, and stays that way. The switch is part of the lamp, not an afterthought you hide.

The column is machined and knurled so it grips cold and precise in the hand. The base is solid walnut, hand-finished, so the grain runs differently on every lamp you could be sent. No veneer over particle board, no painted plastic pretending to be wood. You feel the difference the first time you pick it up and again every night after. That contrast is the whole design: industrial precision sitting on something quietly domestic.
